| Perhaps we should have a staff forum, that only the staff are able to view, access and post in. And can discuss things about the forum, users etc. that doesn't need to be open discussion to everyone.

Nope it wasn't working, you must have set it up so that only admins could view it. It' there now though, can other users see? Cause you're not meant to be able to.
